Kwinana Energy-from-Waste Plant, Australia
Subject:
High pressure hydraulic unit to control waste combustion grate flaps of the steam boilers.
The Kwinana Energy Recovery facility will be the first in Australia to integrate waste recovery and reuse with electricity generation.
Job Descritpion:
Rockfin’s scope of supply included a high-pressure hydraulic unit, hydraulic control panels, and hydraulic cylinders, along with commissioning for two lines for steam boiler. Rockfin components were responsible for operating the waste combustion grate. All furnace flaps were moved by cylinders supplied and controlled by Rockfin equipment.
During the commissioning phase, Rockfin supervised flushing, pressure testing, functional tests and final adjustments to the hydraulic control equipment.

CHP Plant Nowa Czechnica 2, Poland

SGT800 Siemens Gas turbine exhaust compensator modification
Job Description:
During service work at the Nowa Czechnica CHP plant, it was necessary to dismantle the axial elongation compensation system of the high-temperature gas turbine. The modification consisted of precise TIG welding of a spacer ring together with the studs that set the compensator position and repair of the compensator thermal mesh.

Retrofit of H2 Generator gas system with CO2 dryer
Job Description:
During service works at EC4 Veolia Łódź it was necessary to dismantle, design, manufacture, assemble and start up the gas generator station together with the CO2 dryer. The project, fully supervised by Rockfin S.A., ended with the implementation of new control logic to the existing DCS system and after successful functional tests it was put into operation.
